Personal computers have simplified life in many ways, but there is a price to pay in the form of a little drudgery. The time may be right. As expanding hard disks allow users to accumulate ever more digital photos, music files, e-mail messages and personal documents, the value of that data increases, and the need for an effective backup strategy grows.
